A petrol station on the Dublin Road in Swinford was broken into on Thursday February 25 between the hours of 5.20am and 6.20am. The culprits gained entry through the back of the premises and stole cigarettes and some cash.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
In Ballina, between close of business on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, burglars entered a hairdressers off Teeling Street where they stole a small amount of cash.
On Wednesday gardaí intercepted a break in to a business premises in Ballina where a person was arrested at the scene.
