Ballinrobe rep to discuss state of N84 with NRA

A Ballinrobe councillor has insisted that a representative from that area meet with the National Roads Authority to discuss the dire state of the N84 Partry to Shrule section.

Cllr Damien Ryan made the request at a meeting of the Claremorris electoral area meeting on Wednesday.

He said when a council deputation meets with the NRA it is imperative that representatives from the Ballinrobe area are included.

Senior engineer Patsy Burke said the council’s roads SPC would be organising the deputation but he did not know when.
