More than €10,000 for Mayo environmental projects - Flynn

Mayo Fianna Fáil TD Beverley Flynn has confirmed the allocation of €10,288 to Mayo County Council for local environmental projects.
The projects are paid by the Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund and co-funded by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and Local Authorities.
Welcoming the funding, Deputy Flynn said: “The Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund supports local small scale, non-profit, environmental projects. This scheme is an excellent initiative supporting sustainable development and protecting the environment at a local level. I am delighted that 10 Mayo projects will benefit from this funding and I wish to commend them all on their success.”
