Westport Gaelscoil to go to tender
Mayo Advertiser, October 23, 2009.
Progress on the new Gaelscoil na Cruaiche in Westport has taken a major step forward with the approval by the Department of Education and Science of the tender documents for the school.
Beverley Flynn TD who is spearheading the campaign to secure the new Gaelscoil for Westport has been advised that the project has been cleared for tender stage.
“The tender documents for the school have been approved by the Department, which means the Gaelscoil will now be authorised to advertise for tenders,” she said. “This is a major step forward in the process of bringing the Gaelscoil to reality, and I will be keeping in touch with the Department to ensure that the Gaelscoil is given priority over the coming months.”
