Galway baby deemed Ireland's cutest

Baby Tom Fay from Renmore has been officially announced as Ireland's cutest baby. The Galway Advertiser was contacted by Tom's mother Bronagh earlier this week to inform the paper that her beautiful little boy had been shortlisted to the last 12 in the Irish Sun competition to find Ireland's cutest baby. He was then shortlisted to the final three, and Bronagh was informed last night that a flurry of votes for Tom meant he had been deemed the winner!

Tom is six months old and according to his parents loves smiling and giggling with his mum and dad. Unfortunately he is not a fan of the cold, so has not enjoyed the typical Irish summer!

Tom is the first child of Bronagh Fay and her husband John, and commenting on the win, Bronagh was understandably thrilled for her little boy. She said it was a huge honour. "We are delighted, and cannot believe Tom has just won Ireland's cutest baby, a huge thanks to everybody who voted for him. We are certainly a very proud mom and dad."

As part of his prize, Tom has won a €1,000 voucher for Mothercare. He will also be professionally photographed by top snapper Lili Forberg and received a goodie bag.
