Get ready for this year’s Turloughmore Camogie Club 5k family fun run and walk which will be taking place from Turloughmore Social Centre on Sunday August 30 at 2pm with registration starting at 1pm.
The run/walk is open to everyone over 12 years with plenty of fun to be had for younger children on event day as well. It doesn’t matter what your level of fitness is, whether your goal is to run, jog or walk the 5 Kilometre course, there will be something for everyone on the day.
During the race there will be games taking place on the pitch for children under 12 with club coaches teaching skills and drills and loads more fun activities to keep them entertained during the 5K run before they take part in their own children’s mini fun run/walk around the training pitch after the main event.
Each participant in the fun run will also be receiving a handy services directory with contact details for local businesses and tradespeople that will become an essential item in every household.
The entry fee for the fun run/walk is €10 per adult, €5 per child and €20 for a family (max 2 adults ).
