Happy New Year from the French Institute

This is the time of the year for ‘les bonnes résolutions’. Start the New Year by joining a French class in the pleasant, friendly, environment of the French Institute. The French Institute is Galway’s oldest French school, located in the beautiful and historic Bridge Mills.

Whether you wish to take up a new language, refresh your school French, enhance your professional profile, develop your company’s potential on the French-speaking market, prepare for your holidays, get good grades in your Junior or Leaving Cert exam, give a head start to your children, or plan a new life in France, the French Institute has a course to suit you.

The French Institute offers classes for adults, companies, secondary school students, and children from five years of age, and is now enrolling for the new term, starting the week of January 12 for secondary school students and children, and January 19 for adults.

The school also runs Homestay language programmes in France for secondary school students, suitable for transition year and pre-Leaving Cert students, as well as exchanges for all. These programmes are increasingly successful as there is no better way to learn a language than to immerse oneself in the culture of a country. Places are still available for the Easter and summer programmes, and the French Institute has lovely families on its books looking for exchanges.

Full details of courses and other programmes, as well as registration, are available online at www.frenchinstitute.ie, or contact the office at 091 568925, e-mail [email protected].
