Achieve top results with the Galway Study Centre

Nothing comes easy in this life. It came down to some hard work and determination from students to produce another fine Leaving Certificate performance at the Galway Study Centre this year.

The school’s director, Paul Lawless, is delighted that so many have accomplished their goals and received the points required for their courses. The extra tuition which had been taken throughout the year in addition to classes in their own regular schools had combined to give students the knowledge, skills, and confidence to attain top examination grades.

With more and more students opting to take the higher level paper in mathematics, the big focus was on how well students would perform in this first year that all strands of Project Maths were to be examined. At stake were the 25 extra bonus points which were again on offer. Once more, the Galway Study Centre students have come up trumps with more than 90 per cent of them obtaining a minimum grade C in this subject.

At the core of any education establishment are the teachers that work there. Key to the success of the Galway Study Centre are a group of highly motivated and experienced tutors who each year work really hard and effectively to help to get the best out of students. Their approach is creative and provides for a really enjoyable learning experience for everyone.

The 2014/2015 programme gets under way from September 15. Bookings have been ongoing since early June for the weekly after-school and Saturday classes which the Galway Study Centre offers to Leaving Certificate, fifth year, and Junior Certificate students. Nearly all subjects are offered with a good choice of days and times available at Leaving Certificate level.

Furthermore, separate study skills classes will commence from Wednesday September 24 and will be run once per week for four weeks.
