Moycullen to hold first St Patrick’s Day Parade

Moycullen will hold its first St Patrick’s Day parade this year and some 40 floats are expected to take part on Saturday March 17.

The parade will start at 2pm from Moran’s Hardware and travel down Main Street and take a right into An Fuarán. There will be an official viewing stand between Regan’s and Dooleys Bar and there will also be five trophy award categories for the parade.

The village will be decked with bunting and balloons and there will be special shop front decorations and window displays. After the parade there will be fun and craic for the whole family with music and activities in An Fuarán. There will be music sessions in the local pubs and restaurants.
