The Connacht College of Design is offering a diploma course in professional interior design. It begins on Wednesday January 11 in Galway, and bookings are being taken now.
Interior design is a great career as it is easy to earn extra money working part-time or full-time with very little expense. This course is a combination of workshop and lecture. You do not just take notes — you get to work with actual design materials and fabrics, colour cards, samples, and illustrations to create a professional portfolio by the end of the school year. Optional field trips to trade venues are also an important part of the course. There are no extra hidden fees for registration, assignment assessments, materials, and samples.
You are taught the whys and hows and the techniques and art of interior design, and the business of being an interior designer.
