Social night for Galway Visually Impaired Activities Club
By Kernan Andrews
The Galway Visually Impaired Activities Club will hold a social night and information evening in the Menlo Park Hotel this Saturday at 7pm.
The night will include health and beauty and technology demonstrations, live music, and refreshments. Galwegians who are blind or visually impaired, as well as their families are invited to attend. The club is also inviting people who might like to volunteer in any of its activities.
Galway Visually Impaired Activities Club was founded in May 2006 by a group of visually impaired and blind people and aims to provide a social outlet for them, increase the health and fitness of the members, and give a positive image of the visually impaired and blind community.
