Captain’s call to arms
Galway United captain John Fitzgerald has issued a rallying call to Galway United supporters to make the final push by joining his team on Friday night in UCD and cheering them to victory.
There is already great interest for this crucial game among supporters, with five buses travelling from the west, and Fitzgerald believes the fans have made the difference over the last few weeks.
"The atmosphere at Terryland over the last number of weeks has been so intense. It has really spurred us on to fight for every ball, win every challenge, and keep going for the full 90minutes.
"I call on all Galway United fans who helped us get here this season to descend on Dublin for our last crucial game of the season and bring the Terryland atmosphere to the Belfield Bowl."
