Patricia Scanlan to read at Corrandulla Library

Patricia Scanlan, one of Ireland’s most popular novelists, will read at the Corrandulla Library, tomorrow at 7.15pm.

The event, which is part of the Cúirt International Festival of Literature, will see Ms Scanlan read from her new book and sign copies of her book as well. The guest speaker at the event will be County Mayor Jimmy McClearn.

The library is called Library of Friends/Leabharlann na gCairde and was opened in December 2010 by a group of friends in honour of Sally Hardiman, whose life was cut short in 2009 after a battle with cancer. Today the library has more than 1,000 members.
