Bearna fun run on St Stephen’s Day

•Bearna Basketball holds its St Stephen’s Day 5k fun run.
Last year’s 5k fun run was highly successful with runners, walkers, crawlers, and many other unusual participants having a great day.
This is now an annual event and the club looks forward to even more people participating in the fun run on St Stephen’s Day this year.
The club also has a fun day every Christmas and this year’s event will be held on Sunday January 3 in St Mary’s College. The fun day will include a “bounceathon”, the purpose of which is to raise funds for basketball in Ireland and to raise funds locally for the club. This year it is intended that some of the money raised will go towards the Friends of Londiani Kenya project.
