Movember comes to an end with The Cellar ‘shave off’

The men who have grown moustaches for the Movember charity will have their facial hair removed at a big ‘shave off’ party in The Cellar Bar, Eglinton Street, on Tuesday December 1 at 7.30pm.
Movember is an international charity appeal for men’s charities that started five years ago in Australia. It involves growing a moustache for the month of November and in Ireland the money raised will go towards prostate cancer charities.
On the night there will be goody bags and prizes for the best moustaches and the judges will be Alan Mac from the Cellar and Louise McSharry, breakfast presenter with i102-104; the shave off will be carried out by staff of Fat Tony’s Barbers; and there will be a DJ set from Substance DJs Keith McCafferty and Josh Clarke, who have both grown moustaches for Movember. Pitchers of beer will be €5.
