GMIT Heritage Society events

The Heritage Society of GMIT will host a series of public talks, starting at 7pm, in the college throughout November.
This evening Siobhan McGuiness from the Galway Family History Society West, will give a speech on genealogy and the steps you can take in tracing your roots.
On November 19 Peadar O’Dowd from the Galway Archaeological and Historical Society, will give a lecture on history and archaeology of Galway. On November 26 archaeologist Billy Quinn will give a lecture on his Fullacht Fia Project and how beer was produced in ancient times.
