By Kernan Andrews
The FBI i on the hunt for Irish speaking Galwegians and it will not stop until it gets them - but fear not, it’s not the American FBI, it’s an Italian film agency.
The FBI Casting Agency (Italy) is looking for actors and actresses from the ages 22 to 60 with fluent Irish to act in an educational video for the European Parliament Visitors Centre that will open in 2010.
This is a non-profit and non-commercial project to produce an educational video which will only be shown in the European Parliament’s Visitors Centre.
Auditions will be held on Monday November 30 in Seanscoil Shailearna, Indreabhán, and filming will be from January 4 to 6 in a studio in Galway.
The fee is €300 plus 10 per cent agent’s fee, €330 if you do not have an agent. Those interested should send a cv and recent picture to Mairéad Ní Chualáin at muirwozere@yahoo.com before Friday November 20. For more information see www.fbicasting.it
