Have your say this weekend on city’s anti-racism strategy

Public consultation for Phase 2 of the Galway City Anti-Racism Strategy – Towards a City of Equals, will take place in the city this weekend.
Phase 2 will address the issues of racism, interculturalism and integration in Galway city. The strategy will be based on an intercultural approach and an understanding of mutual respect and common basic values for all in Galway.
Public consultation will take place in Shop Street today from 12.30pm to 2.30pm; tomorrow from 12.30pm to 2.30pm; and on Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
The Anti-Racism working group also welcomes submissions from individuals and organisations in the city who wish to contribute to the Strategy. The closing date for submissions is Sunday.
