Galway storyteller Clare Muireann Murphy is returning to London to tell her tales at The Barbican, following her sold out solo performance at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in November 2008.
On Friday October 30 at 8pm Clare will take to the stage of The Barbican, the largest multi arts centre in Europe. The show, titled Four Quarters, and hosted by The Crick Crack Club, is a showcase for four emerging new young voices in storytelling in Ireland and England.
“It is a great honour to play onstage at the Barbican theatre with such a diverse range of voices,” said Clare. “I am very excited to see such international recognition of the new wave of young voices in storytelling.”
Along with her international touring schedule, Clare continues to host Story Night on the first Tuesday of every month at the Spirit Centre on Nuns Island.
