Galway One World Centre youth workshop on justice
By Kernan Andrews
The Galway One World Centre is hosting a workshop for young people this evening at 7pm, entitled Just Us or Justice as part of One World Week.
The workshop will introduce educators and youth workers to practical activities and suggestions for promoting global perspectives with young people. A resource pack will be distributed to all attending free of charge.
The resource asks what does justice mean “on the ground” in Ireland and then globally? Why should young people act for a more just world? With big issues like climate change and economic recession, should we take care of ourselves and ignore the rest?
The workshop is free. For further information/bookings contact the Galway One World Centre at 091 - 530590 or email info@galwayowc.org
