Cinemobile to visit Clarinbridge

The Yellow Bittern, the acclaimed new documentary on the life of Liam Clancy will be screened as part of the mobile cinema’s visit to Clarinbridge from tomorrow to Sunday.

The Yellow Bittern: The Life and Times of Liam Clancy is a surprising and darkly revealing portrait of Liam Clancy, which features unseen archive, audio recordings, and guest appearances. It will be screened on Sunday at 6pm.

Also being screened is Frank O’Connor – The Lonely Voice, the first documentary to comprehensively explore the life and work of O’Connor and examine his importance as a short story writer, translator, and public intellectual. It will be screened tomorrow at 8pm.

The Cinemobile will also show Aliens In The Attic at 2pm on Saturday and Julie & Julia, starring Meryl Streep, at 8pm. Other screenings include March of the Penguins, Bandslam, G-Force, Shorts, and My Sister’s Keeper.
