Maria Kelly and Orla Dolan of The Ardilaun with Emer Murray of Goyas at Ballybrit, in association with Mopasa.

The Ardilaun Hotel has become the first in Galway to launch a new online wedding service called Moposa.

The objective of Moposa is to relieve the stress of planning a wedding so that couples can focus on enjoying every moment of the experience. The online service assists with everything from the invitation lists, gift lists, budget, sharing of photos, to schedules, and the all important seating planner and also increases communication between the hotel, the couple, and guests.

Galway race track was the venue where The Ardilaun marked the launch of its new internet wedding planning service. As a gesture of appreciation they treated their upcoming wedding couples to a day out at the races, beginning with a champagne reception while enjoying the panoramic views from the Killanin stand in Ballybrit.

The ladies in particular were delighted with the goodie bags they received on arrival containing vouchers for Gary Loughin and Andrew Davey wedding videographers, Abbey and Philip Smyth photography, Getaway Limos, Select Hotels of Ireland 2 for 1 Voucher, a complimentary Weddings Now magazine, Ardilaun chocolate as well as stationery from Coyne Designs. Galway’s divine confectionist Emer Murray of Goya’s provided a mouth-watering five tier wedding cake of cup-cakes.

The award winning Moposa software, which the Ardilaun offers to its clients free of charge, can save couples over €700 from the outset, a welcome bonus in the current climate. Moposa software helps couples share more of the experience with friends and family, simplify the wedding planning process and save time and money along the way.

“Moposa is a modern day solution to overcome the stress involved in planning a wedding for couples, especially those living away from their families or based abroad. It is of huge benefit as a communication tools between family and friends and the hotel; and we look forward to seeing the benefits for our upcoming wedding clients,” said Maria Kelly, marketing manager at The Ardilaun, Galway.

Moposa was recently developed by award winning Irish technology company Eventovate Ltd. The company was founded in 2008 by brothers Jonathan and Jason Ruane, originally from County Sligo, who have gained extensive experience in software and business development through their careers to date.
