Get ready for a Howling Halloween at Brigit’s Garden

Ghosts, witches, spiders and plenty of magical mischief are taking over Brigit’s Garden this October. Families are invited to dress up in their spookiest disguises and celebrate Samhain with three days of Howling Halloween fun on Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th October, from 12–4pm.

Mysterious spooks and nasty spiders have invaded the Garden, and brave young visitors are needed to help banish them! Follow the trail of eerie clues on the Spooks & Spiders Treasure Hunt, gather the magic letters and complete the spell. Every child who completes the quest will receive a small prize.

Master storyteller Rab Fulton will send shivers down your spine – but not too many! – with wonderfully eerie Celtic tales, while the Wacky Witch will be busy in the thatched Roundhouse stirring her bubbling cauldron. Join her to mix strange ingredients, cast silly spells and brew some magical potions.

There’s even more Halloween fun in the marquee, with face-painting, spooky crafts, games and tricks and treats with the Giggling Ghost. The Garden Café will also be open throughout the weekend with plenty of seasonal treats.

Perfect for little monsters and their grown-ups, Howling Halloween promises gentle spooks, giggles and magical family fun.

Arrive between 12 and 2pm and enjoy the activities at your own pace. Costumes are highly encouraged – after all, with the veil between worlds growing thin, it’s best to keep the fairies guessing!
