Galway people experiencing ongoing back or neck discomfort, stiffness or restricted movement are being encouraged to put their spinal health first this October, as Chiropractix Galway marks World Spine Day with a week of complimentary consultations.
Running from Monday, October 12 to Saturday, October 17, the initiative will give new patients the opportunity to sit down with a qualified, registered chiropractor at the Chiropractix clinic on Merchants Road in Galway city.
The Galway clinic has been caring for people across the city and county for more than 20 years. Located in the heart of the city, just moments from Eyre Square, the clinic sees patients from Galway city and surrounding areas, including Salthill, Knocknacarra and beyond.
World Spine Day is recognised internationally on October 16 each year and aims to raise awareness of spinal health, movement and physical activity.
“People can often put up with discomfort or restricted movement for far longer than they should,” said Dr Paul Bradley DC, clinical director at Chiropractix. “World Spine Day gives us an opportunity to encourage people to pay attention to their spinal health, ask questions and better understand what may be contributing to the problems they are experiencing.”
During the complimentary consultation, patients can discuss concerns such as back or neck discomfort, stiffness, movement or mobility and determine whether further assessment may be appropriate.
The Galway team will also mark World Spine Day Week with refreshments, gift bags and prizes at the clinic.
Complimentary consultations are available to new patients from October 12 to 17, but spaces are limited and advance booking is recommended.
