Melissa Walsh, Managing Director of MW Design Print Signs Ltd, since 2003 is passionate about creative designs and producing bespoke printed products and signage solutions.
As a business owner, imagination and critical thinking determines how innovative and resourceful she is with modern day technology and inventiveness, and so she feels it is both imperative and wise to embrace it.
Developments in design and print software, hardware, and technology have been truly extraordinary. Continuous research and development are required to identify changes in visual communication, print technology, digital technology developments, electronic equipment, steel fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
Melissa’s objective has always been to reduce costs while improving efficiency and quality, through the advancements in technology and manufacturing, which has radically changed the design, print and signage industry over the years.

“My own journey has included a BA (Hons ) Degree in Graphic, Product and Interactive Design from Ulster University, MSc in Business Leadership Development from University of Galway 2022, and this year I will complete a MSc Design Innovation from Maynooth University,” added Melissa.
“My goal is to continue to grow MW Design, Print, and Signs by being proactive in research and development, sales strategies, manufacturing processes, and design techniques. All while monitoring costs, margins, and sales.
“I love the diversity of my role including business leadership, project management, design director, problem solving, production and design innovation. I want to continue to create and implement design and print solutions across all industries nationwide.
I have a proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion with innovative solutions, and a little wow factor. Change and innovation are always welcome,” she concluded.
