Salthill Devon host Mayo FC at NFP Park this Saturday.
Greg Cunningham's side seek to maintain their unbeaten start to the FAI National League campaign when they welcome their Connacht neighbours to Salthill. Salthill Devon currently sit joint top of Group 2, level on four points with TU Dublin and Letterkenny Rovers.
The Galway team return to action this weekend after having last weekend off. They were held to a 2-2 draw with TU Dublin two weeks ago in Salthill previously.
Ben McDonnell has been the standout player for Salthill Devon to-date. He built on his man-of-the-match display on the opening day by netting his team's two goals against TU Dublin. Two tidy finishes, McDonnell will be eager to add to his tally this Saturday afternoon.
A victory will be high on Salthill Devon's agenda. They will feel they left a victory behind them a fortnight ago. Having gotten themselves in front on two occasions, they were undone twice by set-pieces to ultimately share the spoils.
Mayo have lost their two fixtures since an opening day 1-0 victory over St Francis. Letterkenny Rovers beat them 3-0 before TU Dublin ran out narrow 3-2 winners last weekend.
With both sides desperate to get back to winning ways, it promises to be an intriguing encounter between two Connacht sides at NFP Park this Saturday.
