Since 1858, Dominican College, Taylor’s Hill has been proud to provide high-quality education to the girls of Galway. Building on this long tradition, Dominican College warmly invites prospective students and their parents to the school's Open Evening on Thursday, September 24 at 7pm, for students seeking a place in first year in September 2027.
Choosing a post-primary school is an important decision for every family. Their Open Evening provides an opportunity to visit the school, meet the students and staff, explore facilities and get a sense of life at Dominican College.

During the evening, visitors will have an opportunity to tour the school, learn about the wide range of subjects and extracurricular activities available, and hear about the supports provided to help students make a positive and successful transition from primary to post-primary school.
Applications for admission to first year 2027–28 will be made online through the school website. The application process will open on Thursday, October 1 2026 and will close on Thursday, October 22 2026.
