Rusheen Physiotherapy had its official launch this month, celebrating the opening of the first dedicated physiotherapy clinic in Knocknacarra. These new premises host beautifully appointed clinic rooms and a professional Pilates studio.
Helen McLoughlin is the director and lead of Rusheen Physiotherapy. She is a specialised pelvic health and musculoskeletal physiotherapist. She treats a range of issues including incontinence, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse. Helen also offers treatment for post-natal and pregnancy clients.
Rusheen Physiotherapy also offers expert care in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, treating issues such as back pain, joint pain and sporting injuries. The team is specialised in treating these issues with care, and are dedicated to promoting clients’ recovery.
They are now also offering a unique sports performance rehabilitation as part of their service. This specifically addresses rehabilitation of the athlete, at any level of fitness, with recurrent or chronic injury.
Matwork Pilates classes are also held weekly with dedicated smaller class, to optimise the individual’s experience.
This is a new chapter for physiotherapy in the area, promising not only excellent treatment but a proactive approach to wellbeing. Physiotherapy plays a vital role in not only managing injury and pain, but also in prevention and overall quality of life.
The launch of Rusheen Physiotherapy provides ready access to local, patient-centred care. The aim is to empower individuals to understand their bodies and take control of their health.
The clinic's highly trained and experienced physiotherapists offer tailored treatments and rehabilitation programmes. The clinic creates a welcoming environment, where the client comes first.
