Have a laugh and raise funds for Galway Hospice

Galway comedian Bobby Hennigan will lead a night of laughter and music at a special fundraising show for the Galway Hospice Foundation at the Galway City Museum this Saturday at 8pm.

Bob Hennigan, winner of the 2008 Father Ted Toilet Duck Award, will MC the evening’s entertainment which will be held in the museum’s courtyard. Also appearing are Emmet O’Malley, described by Hotpress as “one of Galway’s funniest tribesmen”, and the indie-rock bands The Voyeurs and Spiderbaby.

The acts are donating their performance fee to the Galway Hospice, and hope that those attending will make a donation on the evening. All funds raised will help ensure the free availability of hospice services to patients and families throughout Galway.

Anyone who can not make the event but would like to make a donation can do so online at www.galwayhospice.ie or by contacting the Galway Hospice Foundation on 091 - 770868.
