Eighty per cent off as prices are slashed at Born store sale
By Mary O’connor
The summer sale at the Born shop at Newtownsmith kicks off tomorrow (Friday) with up to 80 per cent off brands in store.
The event starts at 8am with the first 200 customers who arrive receiving an extra 30 per cent off all marked sale prices.
“So your favourite dress that is marked down 50 per cent in the sale will be a further amazing 80 per cent off,” says a store spokesperson. “For the unfortunate few that don’t make the first 200, don’t fret. All weekend the Born store is giving away extra discounts and saving tokens to make sure all their customers can have fun finding their favourite bargain.”
The largest new retail store in Galway, spanning 22,000 square feet, it stocks well known woman’s labels such as Lipsy, Roxy, Miss Sixty and Motel as well as Firetrap, Billabong, Jack Jones and Superdry for men.
Store owner Gina Malde says the sale prices in Born will never be seen again in Galway. “We decided to celebrate the store’s arrival by offering our customers amazing value and might I say crazy low prices as a thank you for making the Born store a great success since our opening over a month ago.”
Situated just two minutes walk from Shop Street the Born store opens Monday, Tuesday from 9am to 7pm with late opening on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday till 9pm. It opens Sundays, 11am to 6pm.
