Galway needs a school of music says McCabe

Galway is falling behind other cities in Ireland by not having a school of music and one must be provided.
This is the view of Independent Galway City West candidate Aidan J McCabe who is calling for a school of music to be established in Galway to serve the Connacht region.
“There has for years been a chair of music in NUI, Galway which was never taken up because there is no feeder school in Galway as there is in Limerick, Cork, Waterford, and Dublin,” Mr McCabe said. “Why are the children of the west being deprived?”
