There will be live music in both venues - The Prince Bar will have live music from The Ginger Biscuits and Karma resident DJ will be playing all your favourite music until late. This Friday November 21 at 6pm the gallery of Roscommon Arts Centre sees the opening of The Kingcat of Keshcorran. This is the final exhibition in the 2014 visual arts programme and with plenty of Roscommon links, this is an exhibition that will interest many.

The resulting exhibition is a film by visual artists Sean Lynch and Michael Holly that will be presented alongside items of local historical and geographical interest from the collection of Roscommon history enthusiast, Liam Byrne.

Beggars Velvet play The Snug this Saturday at 10pm. This three-piece acoustic act from Galway are all multi-instrumentalists and singers. Born out of the boredom of the present cover band scene, the plan was to create something different, something new, something versatile while still keeping a certain amount of integrity within the set. The set is always evolving and always new and never should be missed.

Live sports fans won’t miss a minute of action, as the bar will be showing the Ireland v Scotland match live on Friday night, November 14 at 7.45pm while in rugby the Ireland v Georgia match will be live on Sunday at 2.30pm.
