Ford offers tax relief to new Focus buyers

The Ford Focus has been Ireland’s best-selling car of the past 10 years. And with the new model just launched, Ford has been made yet more attractive to new car shoppers with the announcement that all new models will come with three years’ free road tax. A new Focus bought by the end of March will have road tax covered up until March 2014.

The offer applies across the Focus range, starting with the three-door Focus Style 1.6 TDCi, available from €21,475 ex-works or €16,334 with scrappage. The model comes with a good standard specification including air conditioning, 16” alloy wheels, front fog lights, Quickclear windscreen, and Bluetooth voice control.

“The free road tax offer is the icing on the cake for a car that already presents outstanding value for money, with its renowned reliability and driving quality,” comments Eddie Murphy, managing director, Ford Ireland.

“The bill for road tax is one none of us likes to face, and not seeing it until 2014 is a pleasing thought! It’s not all, though - there are also exceptional deals available on trade-ins against the Focus up until the end of the month.”
