Leslie Dowdall is the voice and songwriter behind the sound that was In Tua Nua, Mike Hanrahan is the voice and songwriter that is Stockton’s Wing, and they will be taking to the stage together in the Ballina Arts Centre on Thursday, June 15.  Following her stint fronting legendary Irish band In Tua Nua, Leslie Dowdall’s solo career began in earnest with the release of No Guilt, No Guile in 1997. The album won high praise for its creativity and featured hit single ‘Wonderful Thing’.

TWO VERY different albums - one a debut, the other something of a ‘comeback’ - are about to be released on the independent Galway record label Rusted Rail, and both will be launched at a forthcoming Citóg gig.

ONE OF the critical hit albums of 2016 was Introducing Karl Blau, a 10-song set of sixties and seventies styled country gems that melded singer-songwriter Karl Blau’s mellifluous baritone with Tucker Martine’s silky production.

Singer-songwriter Paddy comes to the Garbo’s venue in Castlebar this Saturday night January 14. Casey, who has just released his new single titled “Everything Must Change” from his upcoming new album due to be released in 2017, will play a highly anticipated show at the music venue this coming Saturday night. Support comes from local singer songwriters Con Murphy and Dennis McCalmont.
