The all-island initiative is now entering its second year, after an unprecedented response in 2012. Following several weeks of intense nominating, they have received entries from every corner of Mayo. Tom Jennings has been shortlisted as the Mayo nominee for the Community Champion initiative.
MSP launches spring 2013 training and events programme
Child protection in sport, sports first aid, walking and cycling leader training, sports leadership training, funding workshops and Lucozade sport education courses are just some of the upcoming sports volunteer training courses which will be available through the Mayo Sports Partnership over the coming months. These courses/seminars are aimed at community/sport volunteers, coaches, or indeed anyone who may have an interest in sport/physical activity.
