Monkeyshine Theatre presents The Magic Bookshop on Saturday April 16 with performances at 11am, 12.15pm, 1.45pm and 3pm. Peter and John do their very best to make sure every book gets a new life and that none of the magic is lost. Step inside this unusual shop, swap a book and maybe even take a little of the magic home with you. Audiences are invited to bring gently used books to swap. Previous Monkeyshine productions have been described as “magical”, “delightful” and “a treat for all ages”. The show is suitable for five-year-olds and their families, with a duration 30 minutes.

Baby Tom Fay from Renmore has been officially announced as Ireland's cutest baby. The Galway Advertiser was contacted by Tom's mother Bronagh earlier this week to inform the paper that her beautiful little boy had been shortlisted to the last 12 in the Irish Sun competition to find Ireland's cutest baby. He was then shortlisted to the final three, and Bronagh was informed last night that a flurry of votes for Tom meant he had been deemed the winner!
