Songwriters to play Galway city and Athenry

LUAN PARLE and Clive Barnes are solo artists and songwriters, who, for the last three years have been performing together to sold out audiences across Ireland, the US, and Europe.

That collaboration continues when the pair play two shows in Galway - The Village Theatre, Athenry, Saturday March 24; and The Black Gate Cultural Centre, St Francis Street, Galway city, Sunday 25.

Meteor and Tatler Award winner Luan Parle has recorded three albums and is set to release new music this year. She has enjoyed hit singles with 'Day Is Done' (No 8 on Irish Airplay Charts ), 'Roll The Dice' and 'You're Not Here'. All topped the iTunes Chart and reached audiences of almost eight million. She supported Elton John at the London Hammersmith Apollo.

Clive Barnes is a critically acclaimed guitarist and songwriter who has played and recorded with Joe Cocker, Taj Mahal, and Eric Bibb, and also shared stages with Dr John, Jeff Beck, Solomon Burke, and The Blind Boys of Alabama. His new album, Get Low, is due for release later this year.
