ROFI JAMES, the Galway Advertiser's Galway Band of The Year 2017, join Dublin quartet Wild Youth for a 'GMIT Students Union presents...' show at Monroe's Live tonight.

Since the release of their debut singles ‘Fool For Your Love’ and ‘Open Eyes’, Rofi James have gone from strength to strength. 'Fool For Your Love’ was one of iRadio Top 10 most requested tracks in February 2017, while 'Open Eyes’ was a winning track in the RTÉ 2fm #PlayThePicnic competition 2017. Their most recent single, 'Reason' reached No 3 in the Radiomonitor Breaking Irish Music Airplay Charts, and was featured as Song of the Day by JOE.ie, Hotpress.ie, and IMRO.ie since its release in December 2017.

Wild Youth - David Whelan (vocals/guitar ), Conor O’Donohoe (keyboard/vocals ), Ed Porter (guitar/vocals ), Callum McAdam (drums ) - formed in 2016, its members drawn together by a mutual love of rock and pop in equal measures. Their debut single 'All Or Nothing' became a viral hit and stayed at the top of Spotify’s viral chart for more than a two weeks. The follow-up single, 'Lose Control' was a radio hit and brought the band's streams to more than 1 million by the first six months of 2017.

Doors are at 8pm. There will be an after party and DJs. Tickets from www.monroes.ie, on the door, and from GMITSU.
