SINGER-SONGWRITER Mark Geary returns to Galway to play Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Saturday June 11 at 9pm.
After moving to New York City in 1992, Mark honed his craft playing the local circuit in the East Village, including the legendary Sin-E Café. He grew a steady following and before long he was featuring on bills with Jeff Buckley, Joe Strummer, and Elvis Costello.
Mark released his fifth album, Hope and Spring last year and saw it earn comparison to Van Morrison, John Lennon, Elliot Smith, and Richard Thompson.
