In Their Thousands @ Monroe’s Live

IN THEIR Thousands’ music sits somewhere between the folk-rock of Mumford and Sons and Devendra Banhart and the epic indie of Alt-J and Django Django.

Galway audiences will be able to judge for themselves when the band play Monroe’s Live on Sunday April at 9pm.

The band, led by brothers Aidan and Declan McClafferty, have released four EPs and won the 2FM Hotpress ‘Play on the Day’ competition in 2012. They have also enjoyed critical acclaim with Hotpress editor Niall Stokes describing them as having “huge international potential”.

Tickets are available now for €7 on www.monroes.ie or for €10 on the door on the night.
