I Will Sing My Songs For You

IN THE early 1970s, a young musician named Simon is enjoying success with his band The Heartbeats and everywhere he is surrounded by the trappings of a rock-star life style.

On a song-writing break to Inishowen in County Donegal, he meets and becomes enchanted by the beautiful Marie-Clare. As their relationship develops and Simon’s fame and fortune continues to climb, can their relationship survive the tragedies and misunderstandings that will invade it as Marie-Clare has her own demons to conquer?

This is I Will Sing My Songs For You, the new novel by Derry born writer Harry McGilloway, which will be published by Tirgearr Publishing on Thursday February 13.

McGilloway drew on his background as a professional musician for the novel. “This is an in-depth look at the workings of the music industry machine and portrays the reality behind the popular misconceptions,” he said.

The novel can be purchased through Kindle, Smashwords, Apple, Nook, Kobo, Sony, and Amazon as an e.book while the physical edition will follow in the summer. See http://tirgearrpublishing.com.
