Gerry Mooney had spent some time as a secondary school teacher and decided to change career. He picked one that incorporated a lot of the values and skills of teaching, ie, having specialist knowledge, information, and skill sets, and the ability to impart these to learners through patience, understanding, observation, empathy, and the willingness to listen.
During the last 23 years Gerry Mooney has put thousands of people — young, old, shy, confident, and nervous — to test success and he himself has achieved grades in the high 90s in RSA exams.
