See the Irish Kings of Comedy

BARRY MURPHY, Kevin McAleer, and Joe Rooney, the Irish Kings of Comedy, are coming to the Róisín Dubh next Wednesday at 8.30pm.

Although all three are no strangers to Galway, this will be a rare opportunity to catch these three legends sharing the same bill together.

Barry Murphy has been a great champion of comedy in Ireland since co-founding the Comedy Cellar Club in Dublin and his performances as part of Après Match, be he Frank Stapleton or Liam Brady, etc, are as hilarious as they are loved.

Joe Rooney’s witty observations and infectious enthusiasm leaves audiences of all ages and nationalities in paroxysms of laughter. He is also well known for playing the roles of Father Damo in Father Ted and Timmy in Killinaskully.

Since first appearing on Nighthawks in the late 1980s, Kevin McAleer’s idiosyncratic tales of life in rural County Tyrone has made him legendary and won the respect of comedians like Phill Jupitus, Stewart Lee, and David O’Doherty.

Tickets are €15/12.50 and available from the Róisín Dubh and www.roisindubh.net
