Piano workshops with ‘great grand pupil of Chopin’

JAMES LISNEY, the self-styled “great grand pupil of Chopin”, will visit Galway for a mini-residency during the NUI Galway Muscailt Festival in February.
He will give a number of workshops for piano at various levels - on Tuesday February 9 there will be the chance for children, whether solo or in duets, at any standard, to play in public, and get praise and advice from one of the most distinguished pianists in Britain. On Wednesday the same will be offered to more advanced students and adult amateurs.
