All-Ireland Poetry Slam Championship

THE NORTH Beach Poetry Nights will host the All-Ireland Poetry Slam Championship 2009 in The Crane Bar, Sea Road, on Monday at 9pm.
Eight poets, two chosen at regional heats in each province, will compete for the title. The winner will be chosen by a panel of three judges.
The guest poet will be the Cornish poet-writer-performer-artist Linda Cleary. Apples&Snakes has described her as “ a young Joolz Denby, laced with Patti Smith overtones”.
The MC will be Brendan Murphy and there will be music from The Reverend Reynolds.
