Zelig to stage The Donahue Sisters

AFTER A successful run in London at the Hen & Chickens Theatre, Galway company Zelig brings Geraldine Aron’s The Donahue Sisters to the second Galway Theatre Festival.
Martina Carey, Deirdre Sullivan, and Saileóg O’Halloran play middle-aged Annie, Rosie, and Dunya, who meet in their childhood home to discuss marital issues, plastic surgery, and flatulence before their disturbing and violent past is revealed.
Directed by Cathal Cleary, The Donahue Sisters will be performed in the Nuns’ Island Theatre on Wednesday October at 8pm and Thursday 22 at 1pm.
