Maura O’Connell to play Leisureland

MAURA O’CONNELL, the Grammy-nominated Irish singer, will perform in Leisureland, Salthill, on Friday October 16, where she will be joined by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
In this concert, Maura will perform traditional Irish and American folk songs. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra will be under the baton of principal conductor David Brophy.
Maura first came to prominence singing with Dé Dannan. Later she went solo and is now based mostly in Nashville, Tennessee. She has worked with Dolly Parton, Nanci Griffith, and Paul Brady.
