Citroen has lifted the lid on two new models in its Irish line-up - the C5 Aircross and the C3 Aircross.
The French automotive manufacturer is offering a seven-seater version of the new C3 Aircross on petrol and hybrid powertrains. In the seven-seat version, the C3 Aircross gives drivers the same knee-to-knee length in row two as the C3 with elbow width that is 25mm wider than the category average.
In five-seat versions, the C3 Aircross has a 40/60 bench seat that is 65mm further back than on the seven-seater version. The result, says Citroen, is very generous space in row two, with the best knee room in the category with 80mm compared to the segment average. With all seats deployed, the boot volume is 330-litres, and 40-litres in the seven-seat configuration.
The C3 Aircross is priced from €27,790 for the five-seater and from €28,990 for the seven-seater. Meanwhile, the second generation C5 Aircross starts from €39,300 and is available now in hybrid, fully-electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Regardless of powertrain, the new C5 Aircross offers one of the best boot volumes in its segment of 651 litres. The new model also features the largest central HD touchscreen ever offered by Citroen (10-inch ).
The all-new C5 Aircross is available in three trim levels - 'YOU', 'PLUS' and 'MAX'. YOU models kick off the range with rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, dual zone air conditioning, 13-inch waterfall touchscreen, wireless smartphone charger, automatic LED headlamps and 18-inch diamond-cut alloys on hybrid and 19-inch diamond-cut alloys on electric models.
The new C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross are now available to test-drive at local Citroen dealerships nationwide and are available with low-rate finance, Citroen’s five-year unlimited mileage warranty, three year’s roadside assistance and free home charger in partnership with Energia.
