A lucky punter has won the coveted golden ticket for a year’s worth of free shows at the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar.
Michelle Kilcoyne scooped the highly anticipated prize which grants two tickets to every single show at the TF Royal Theatre for the 2026 season, with a total value in excess of €12,000.
The Golden Ticket gives Michelle and a guest access to more than 150 live events at the TF Royal Theatre throughout the year, including music, comedy, family shows and podcasts. These range from national acts to internationally renowned performers.
“I honestly can’t believe I won - it’s just amazing!” said Michelle. “I’ve always loved everything that happens at the TF Royal Theatre, and to have the chance to see every show in 2026 with someone special is just unbelievable. I’m so grateful to everyone who made this possible. This is going to be a year to remember.”
Marketing Manager at the TF Royal Theatre, Fiona Coyne, spoke about the competition’s impact:

The Golden Ticket competition ran throughout December, with entries drawn and the winner selected in early January.
The prize entitles the winner and a guest to attend all TF Royal Theatre events - including sold-out shows - between early January and the end of 2026, simply by presenting their Golden Ticket.
