St Patrick’s Brass Band will team up with choirs and vocalists from across Galway for an unforgettable Christmas Jubilee this Sunday, December 21, at the Salthill Hotel.
For this concert St Patrick’s is privileged to team up with local choirs and vocalists for what promises to be a special Christmas concert. The performance, in addition to a number of brass band classic Christmas numbers, will feature Galway Choral Association Choir, TLC Choir and Loughrea vocalists Padraig Connaughton and Madeleine Fleming.
Founded in 1896, St Patrick’s Band is Galway city’s premier brass band with over 100 active playing members between their Junior, Intermediate and Senior brass bands. As a community-based organization, St Patrick’s Band is immensely gratified to collaborate with local institutions, spreading inclusion, participation, and enjoyment through the magical medium of music.
Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start to a concert which will feature a wide selection of Christmas classics across a broad spectrum of genres, from classic to jazz to family Christmas favourites for both adult and children alike.
